@TheSmartOne can u help me i dont understand how to dolve this

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

You can multiply by 4 on both sides to get rid of the fractions..

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

i got 4 and 2

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So 4(1/4x-8+2/x)=19*4

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

so the answer is 19/4

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

You should get x-32+2x=76

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So 3x=118

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

i got 36

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

cuz

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

(1/4)*x+(2/4)*x-8 = 19 // - 19 (1/4)*x+(2/4)*x-19-8 = 0 3/4*x-27 = 0 // + 27 3/4*x = 27 // : 3/4 x = 27/3/4 x = 36

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

is this right

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Yes x=36... trying to see where I messed up..

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

oh 76+32=108 not 118

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

SO yeah but at the end you get x=36

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

oh okay thanx ^_^

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

no prob.
