Please help me Design your own scientific experiment. Your experiment must follow the scientific method and meet the criteria described in the lesson in order to be considered scientific. You do not have to conduct your experiment; however, you are still responsible for including all the steps of the scientific method. Since you will not be able to record data or draw a conclusion, for the last two steps please include a description of what each step involves.

OpenStudy (perl):

Have you ever wondered why cooked onions taste different than raw onions? we can use scientific method to answer this question

OpenStudy (perl):

Observation: chop raw onion into pieces, eat it. onion tastes bitter. Now throw chopped onion into frying pan, add some vegetable oil and cook under heat. After around 10 minutes onions turn brown. Onions taste sweet

OpenStudy (perl):

Forming Hypothesis: What causes the onion to taste sweet after cooking it? One possibility is that onions contain sugar. Because the raw onion does not taste sweet, the sugar might be in the form of starch.

OpenStudy (perl):

Test hypothesis : We can test our hypothesis using a starch-iodine test.
