OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which is a good guideline to follow for adding animation to a presentation?

OpenStudy (woodrow73):

Don't have the animation distract people from the points being made & keep it classy.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

clean and smooth, try your hardest to stick to primary or closely primary colors, also make a high contrast between your animations and text, without going into neon colors. Its very important that the viewers can see and read the information, it has higher priority than just the animations

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Make them draw attention to the key ponts, not detract from them. So an arrow that glows as it points at an important topic is a lot better than a bouncing ball that keeps moving around to different things.
