OpenStudy (phi):

***i need help with 5 and 7 **** for #5, you have two parallel lines marked with the colored arrow heads. and you have (two) transversals. <1 is related to the angle labeled 85 degrees they are "opposite (sides of the transversal) interior (between the two parallel lines)" what do you know about "opposite interior" angles?

OpenStudy (phi):

also known as "alternate interior" angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know that if they are crossed by another line they become oposite

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thankyou : )

OpenStudy (phi):

notice that if you know only one angle, you can figure out all 8 angles! (4 angles formed by the first parallel line, and 4 angles formed by the second parallel line) by the transversal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awesome thanks that helped alott!! :D
