depends... 2x=4 has 1 constant but 2x+2=6 has 2 constants.
Buuuut
the standard form is http://www.mathwarehouse.com/dictionary/S-words/definition-of-standard-form-of-a-polynomial.php use that sight both examples have 1 or 2 constants
