Find the surface area of the prism. A. 24 m2 B. 54 m2 C. 94 m2 D. 104 m2
Help
So first you find the area of each side. S1=3x4 S2=4x5 S3=5x3
so the sides are S1=12 S2=20 S3=15
So because there are two of each side you multiply each side by two. 12x2 20x2 15x2
so you then add all of the sides together\[24+40+30\]
So your answer is C \[94m ^{2}\]

What is the surface area of the square pyramid? A. 60 cm2 B. 132 cm2 C. 228 cm2 D. 288 cm2
I think it is 288
okay so there are two different sides the square base and the triangles. the square base is a 6 by 6 base so the area of that is 36. the triangle base is and 8 by 6 so you multiply 8 and 6 and divide the answer by two which is 24. but because there are four triangles you multiply 24 by four which is 96. So you then add 96 and 36 which is 132 so the answer is \[132cm ^{2}\]
What is the surface area of the square pyramid? A. 2242 in2 B. 3838 in2 C. 4636 in2 D. 30,324 in2
So for the square base you multiply 38 by 38 which is 1444. For the triangles you multiply 38 by 42 and divide it by two which is 798. You then multiply 798 by 4 which is 3192. After that you add 1444 and 3192 so the answer is C\[4636\in ^{2}\]
What is the surface area of the prism? A. 170 ft2 B. 260 ft2 C. 340 ft2 D. 400 ft2
So for this you have a side of 10 and 5 so the area is 50. Another side is a side of 18 and a side of 8 so the area is 80. The last side is 8 and 5 so the area is 40.
so you take each side and multiply it by two 50x2=100 80x2=160 40x2=80
you then add all of the sides \[100+160+80=340\]
so the answer is \[340ft ^{2}\]
Thanks im bout to find out what i made.
