use this: |dw:1414707086987:dw| your points are (–1, 3) and (4, –7) y1 ... look at the y value of your first coordinate. it's three y2 ... look at the y value of your second coordinate. x1 ... look at the x value of your first coordinate. x2 ... look at the x value of your second coordinate now that you have these values, plug it into the formula indicated in the drawing.
