how would someone respond to de donde eres in 3rd person

De donde eres? (accent over the o) They are asking, where are you from? You would answer in the first person. For example. I am from Japan. Soy de Japon (accent over the o).

If they ask where is she from, then you would say -using the third person -she is from Japan. Ella es de Japon (accent over the o).
