The circumference of each tire on a bicycle is 50 inches. About how many revolutions does one of these bicycle tires make traveling 300 feet ( 3,600 inches) without slipping? A) 6 B) 18 C) 72 D) 300 E) 864

OpenStudy (anonymous):

One revolution is the amount the circumference is. Which means you divide 300 by 50. 300 / 50. :)

In that case wouldn't you do 3600 divided by 50 due to the converstion?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whoops yeah your right sorry :S

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 72 doing 3600 divided by 50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You got it ;)
