Well the reason weed is seen as bad is more to do with influencial reasons than anything else. for 10,000 years of recorded human history it has been known that marijuana was ingrained in a lot of our culture, it was only untill the 1940's that it became an ilegal substance but before than it was heavily used. most early medicines used marijuana even in early times it was known for its medicinal purposes. Today people have rejected this theory based on a study that was done which forms the foundation of all arguments for weed killing brain cells. this was a study done in 1974 whereby Ronald Regal announces the most reliable study reveals marijuana causes permanent brain damages one of the inevitable results of using marijuana. In this study monkeys were pumped full of marijuana at 30 joints a day and went on to die after 90 days. Brain damage was determined after counting the dead brain cells of both monkeys who had been subjected to the marijuana and ones who had not. This study became the foundation of the government and other special interest groups claim that marijuana kills brain cells... heres what they didn’t tell you, after 6 years of request of how the study was conducted it was finally revealed. Instead of administering 30 joints a day for 1 year. Dr heath used a method off pumping 63 Colombian strength joints through a gas mask within 5 minutes over 3 months. This suffocated the monkeys, although they pumped pot into these gas masks but without additional oxygen so after x amount of time the brain shut down. As you know, if you suffocate the first thing that’s going to happen is that your brain cells are going to die with lack of oxygen. So what they did was suffocate the monkeys showed all these dead brain cells and than went on to associate cannabis use with causing brain cells to die and how many people not knowing the origin of the study have went on to believe this? Now people believe it. Studies since have shown no signs of any brain damage, in 2005 new research suggested that marijuana may actually stimulate brain growth. That study hasn’t received the same attention. Another common belief is that marijuana causes lung cancer. In the 1999 study by the institute of medicine which was paid for by the u.s. government they had to use words like may and should cause lung cancer when describing marijuana. We been hearing this for years but they can’t even show us not one case of solely marijuana use. Smoking can be harmful because of the use of smoke not as a result of anything in the pant. A study recently came out verifying that cannabis smoke does not cause cancer (by Dr Donald Tashkin, UCLA) and the elements in tobacco smoke do cause cancer. The fact is there is never been one case of marijuana only smokers getting brown lung, emphysema.

THC is the most beautiful, wonderful chemical on the planet. Along with LSD and Psilocybin. All three of these chemicals are under prohibition because of misuse by the public and it makes me sad. Each one can bring you to different planes of conciousness that can show you things new to mankind. The prohibition of all psychedelics is a sick, sick thing.
