What Is the best Free screen recording software If I were to record me playing a PC game

It varies from game to game from what I have seen on the topic. Some are better at doing the job, but also more likely to lag the game in some cases. Others work great on some games but not at all on other games. I ran into that when looking at screen recording in general, which is more forgiving than games.
