Please Guys....Help me! I worked this out so far, I just need to find the restriction. (9x^2 − 25) / (3x − 5) = (3x − 5) (3x + 5) / (3x − 5) = 3x + 5

OpenStudy (animelover98):

@mathstudent55 and @robtobey ? I am in desperate need of assistance. Thank you!

There is going to be a hole, do you know when a hole occurs?

OpenStudy (animelover98):

No

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A hole occurs, when both the numerator and denominator equal zero for the same x value. Thus, the numerator and denominator will have a common factor. Do you see the common factor?

OpenStudy (animelover98):

-5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ (3x-5)(3x+5) }{ (3x-5) }\] what is common about the numerator and the denominator?

OpenStudy (animelover98):

I am so sorry. I have to go to a music lesson now. Would it be alright if we picked up again in about 45 minutes? If you're online. Thank you so much for your help so far. Once again, I am so sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea sure.

OpenStudy (animelover98):

I'm back! @M0j0jojo
