Can someone help me with a unit circle question? I can never understand these.

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Use the unit circle to help you find teh value of sin(-90degrees)

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

So first ...we are looking for the sin...which is the vertical component in the unit circle correct?

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

correct

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

We begin moving from the positive x-axis in our circle, and move counterclockwise NORMALLY however...notice the degree measurement we want is NEGATIVE...we must travel CLOCKWISE 90 degrees

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

|dw:1414789966480:dw| like that?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Not quite |dw:1414789946829:dw|
