gotta use logs :D
(6^x)^2 + (6^x) - 90 = 0
this has the form u^2 + u - 90 = 0
( u - 9 ) ( u + 10)
now plug in , I substituted 6^x for u

(6^x - 9 ) (6^x + 10) =0
now use zero product property
6^x - 9 = 0 or 6^x + 10 = 0
oh okay thank you! @perl
