What is instantaneous velocity, and how can you determine it from a d-t graph? (an example problem would help a lot)

OpenStudy (zpupster):

i thought about trying to explain this but it may be better to here: http://www.wikihow.com/Image:Calculate-Instantaneous-Velocity-Step-13-Version-3.jpg much better explanation and example

OpenStudy (anonymous):

instantaneous velocity differs from uniform velocity. Uniform velocity has a graph of a straight horizontal line, whereas instantaneous velocity (if it is changing constantly) will not have a straight line. HTH
