12x=4y+28

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Wingsofanangel help bro?

OpenStudy (mpj4):

Is this for slopes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12x=4y+28 12x-4y=28 <-- standard form -4y=-12x+28 -(-4y=-12x+28) 4y=12x-28 (4y=12x-28)/4 y=3x-7 m=3 b=-7 <---y=mx+b form

OpenStudy (mpj4):

oops, he beat me to it xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

their is no m or b its solving for y @Wingsofanangel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then y=3x-7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you sure? @Wingsofanangel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=3x-7 if you're finding the y-intercept only.solve for x first so the solution will be: let the y=0 first so you can solve for x y=3x-7 0=3x-7 -3x=-7 (-3x=-7)/-3 x=7/3 then you can solve for the y next. just substitute 7/3 to x y=3x-7 y=3(7/3)-7 y=7-7 y=0
