This can be anything from health care, to cats vs. dogs. My sample topic will be later school start times.

Mine will be health problems, poor academic and physical abilities, and bad actions.

3. Pick a claim (this includes your side of the topic/argument and your three reasons/subtopics in one sentence).
Mine is school start times should be later, for they cause children/tweens/teens health problems, bad actions/behavior, and poor academic and physical abilities.
