A jet flies a distance L and back, first against and then with a wind with speed u. One might think that since the wind will slow the jet one way and speed it equally the other way the effects would cancel and the trip time would b 2L/v, where v is the jet's speed relative to the air. Show that the round-trip time is actually (2L/v)(1-u^2/v^2)^-1
