Question

Suppose to be in Computer Science section, but it is so inactive I decided to put it into the Math section.
HTML/CSS:
In CSS I put the [:hover] attribute on some text so when I hover over it, it will turn into another font-color. However I later realized that if my cursor in on the row that the text is, it will still change color. How do I fix this so it will only change when my cursor is on the text.

set the width for text

i think the text is expanding the entire row by default
