LINEAR EQUATIONS HELP PLEASE. MEDAL WILL BE GIVEN.
A company produces accessories for smart phones and tablets. The profit on each smart phone case is $2, and the profit on each tablet case is $3. The company made a profit of $1,200 on the cases last month. The equation 2x + 3y = 1,200 represents the company's profit from cases last month, where x is the number of smart phone cases sold and y is the number of tablet cases sold. Change the equation into slope-intercept form. Identify the slope and y-intercept of the equation.
@Imtiaz7 @anonymous_user @Mashy @hanner_B_nanner
the slope intercept form is: y= mx+b so here the equation will become: y=(1200-2x)/3 y=(1200/3)-(2x/3) y=400-2/3x or y= -2x/3+400 so here 400 is a y intercept and -2/3 is slope
omg thank you do much !
no problem! @silverr :)
i think you are forgetting something :)
i got it, sorry ! :)
its ok lol :)
@Imtiaz7 , one more thing please? i could fan if you want :) how you would graph this line using the slope-intercept method?
yes i like friendship you can :) and wait i'll draw the graph and make you understand ok?
okay, thank you !
thank you so much for the help !! :)
