Will give medal! The table below represents a linear function f(x) and the equation represents a function g(x). X F(x) g(x) = 10x - 25 0 28 1 30 2 32 Part A: Write a sentence to compare the slope of the two functions and show the steps you used to determine the slope of f(x) and g(x). (6 points) Part B: Which function has a greater y-intercept?

The slope is 10 because 10x-25 is in slope intercept form. The 10 is the slope & the -25 is the Y intercept. F(x)=Y, so if you take two separate points from the table, (0,28) and (1,30), then subtract the y's and the x's, you will get the slope. 1-0=1 & 30-28=2, so the slope is 2/1 because the equation for slope is the difference of the Ys over the difference of the Xs. The y intercept is when X is at 0, so the first equation has a Y intercept of 28.
