@sashadqaf @One098 I get the idea of what they are saying but I'm not good at the whole calculating the pesos and euros thing =o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why do they ask you that in spanish D: Tortura

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So a dollar is worth 13.49 pesos here in mexico You multiply 100 times 13.49

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the euros it is worth 16.86 pesos in mexico so 100 times 16.86

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then you have to multiply 40 times 13.49 for the dolares and 16.86 for the euros. They just put a lot of numbers to get you confused.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thank-you!! i'll work it all out real quick and let me know if I get it lol =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes sure :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100 x 13.49 = 1,349 100 x 16.86 = 1,686 40 x 13.49 = 539.6 40 x 16.86 = 674.4 so multiplying by 100 gives me the equivalent of their money in pesos and multiplying by 40 gave me their money in euros?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No in the first ¿Cuántos pesos recibió Marisela para un cheque de cien dólares estadounidenses? ¿Cuántos pesos recibió Pablo para un cheque de cien euros? they ask you to know the value of 100 dollars and 100 euros and to know this you multiply by 13.49 and 16.86

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okkk soo... marisela recieved 1,349 pesos and paul received 1,686. Then for bowling it cost 539.6 in U.s dollars and 674.4 in euros? did I put all that info together properly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The first part yes, but in the bowling part sorry i was mistaken in that part you have to divided. So 40 pesos to euros would be 2.37 euros and 2.96 dollars

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok, thank-you!!
