The Amboy Kennel Club has an annual dog show for the last 42 years. During this time the winner of "Best of Show" has been an Alaskan Malamute 21 times, a Great Pyrenees 3 times and a Siberian Husky 18 times. Determine the empirical probability that the next winner of "Best of Show" will be an Alaskan Malamute.

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Assuming that there have been 45 winners, of which 21 have been Alaskan Malamutes, the empirical probability of an Alaskan Malamute being the next winner is 21/45. I leave it to you to simplify the fraction or to put it into decimal form.
