Ok i need help my question is the graph y= f(x) is shown on the graph I need to know how to find f(0) The problem gives me a hint by saying it isn't a number but more like a list of numbers I'll post the graph link

OpenStudy (freckles):

You have y=f(x) you are asked to find f(0) This simply means what is the y value that corresponds to the x value 0.

OpenStudy (freckles):

Go on the horizontal axis til you find x=0 then find the y value on the curve at that particular spot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know that but i tried putting the y value and it told me it isn't a plain number but a list of numbers

OpenStudy (freckles):

f(0) is one number what did you put as f(0)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i thought i had to find where on the graph that would be true so i followed the graph to f(0) and got the y value of 5 but that is incorrect
