You replace Y with 0, and solve from there.

you put a 1 over the number by x and it creates a fraction and you divide both sides by that fraction and solve from there

^ that also works. I prefer to use 0, as it eliminates Y altogether. Using 1 leaves a value, but it does indeed determine the value of X.
