OpenStudy (jadeautumn):

I have to solve the following trigonometric identity, but I have gotten stuck. (secx + tanx)((1-sinx)/cosx)=1 I get so far as: (secx + tanx)((1-sinx)/cosx)=1 (1/cosx +sinx/cosx)(cosx/cosx)=1 (1+sinx/cosx)(1)=1 I don't see where I can go from there to solve for 1. Can you explain what I am doing wrong?
