*****Use the LINK in the comment section below for the Matrices!!!!!!***** 9. A. Matrix A gives the number of cutting boards that Monique and Shondra contracted to make in August. Matrix B gives the number of wood strips needed to make each style. B. Walnut costs $1.50 per strip, maple costs $.85 per strip, and cherry costs $1.10 per strip. Write matrix C to represent these costs. Use matrices A, B, and C and matrix multiplication to find the total cost of Monique's wood and of Shondra's wood. Show the matrix product you used. Th en describe your solution method.
Go to this website to page 8 and the matrices are on problem #9 on the Check Your Understanding: http://www.dentonisd.org/cms/lib/TX21000245/Centricity/Domain/669/1.6.pdf
@freckles
what do you have the part a)
first lets find the matrix for the wood types
@perl I divided #9 into part A and B to make it easier. I did #9 and I am trying to figure out why I got it wrong?
