Which approach would be most effective in making this statement from the passage sound more persuasive? adolescents who do not get enough sleep also perform poorly in school. A.provide imagery to support the statement B.support the statement with an argument C.provide a real-life example D.repeat this viewpoint in different contexts

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

@kbest Get rid of B now what do you believe the answer is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would go with c? Im not sure.

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Hmmm you could do A or C. Between those now what do you think it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A?

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

I would say A my self since imagery is a descriptive context in where it describes what you see in this sense you are seeing how adolescents that don't sleep will look awful in school and look dead to the world whereas C is just one example that's a real-life example. Also it shows statistically in science if you do not get sleep you do worse when it comes to work.

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

@kbest Im sorry if you get this wrong after all i am only one person.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It was A. Thank you(: Will you help me with another?

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Sure thing.

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Post it here.

Children and adolescents need approximately eight to nine hours of uninterrupted sleep every night to be at their best during the day. When they get even one hour less, they develop what is called a sleep debt. If this sleep debt becomes too substantial, children can become sleepy when they should be alert, which interferes with normal activities and reduces their ability to function properly. The lack of sleep can even increase the likelihood that children and adolescents might receive some form of accidental injury due to a slower reaction time or an inability to completely control their motor skills. Adolescents who do not get enough sleep also perform poorly in school. Additionally, students who are tired suffer from memory lapses, behavior problems, and mood swings. They can also be viewed as either overactive and restless or lazy and sluggish. Either way, adolescents cannot perform to their fullest academic potential if they have not received the proper amount of sleep.

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

For the first one i would say B because most people who get sleep aren't going to be super smart or mildly mannered. However i am not sure about D that doesn't seem right anyways.

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Oh there was only 1 question there anyways @kbest XD, if that was right good wishes and may i get a medal ;)
