Gamma-Rays have the highest amount of energy out of any wave. The smaller the wavelength that a wave has the HIGHER the energy the wave has since they are inversely related. 

In order from Highest to lowest energy waves --> (Highest) Gamma rays, X rays, Ultraviolet, Visible light, Infrared, Microwaves, Radio Waves (Lowest)

If you imagine the wave as a sine wave, then the wave rises and falls so many times a second. If the freqency is low, the rise and fall are slow. But if the frequency is high, the rises and falls take place much faster. So the higher frequency waves have more energy. The energy of a photon is given by the Plank / Einstein relationship
