Which phrase correctly orders –34, 15, –23, and 2? A. 2 < 15 < –34 < –23 B. 2 < 15 < –23 < –34 C. –34 < –23 < 2 < 15 D. –34 < –23 < 15 < 2

OpenStudy (ccswims):

Well -34 we know right off the bat will be the first number stated, so we can cross off A and B

OpenStudy (ccswims):

and D says 15 is less than 2, common sense tells us that is not true, C is the only one left, and when we check it is all true :)
