The capital of the Ming dynasty was moved to Dadu, renamed Beijing, and rebuilt. A. True B. False
I think True
That is true. In 1368, Zhu Yuanzhang officially proclaimed himself emperor in Yingtian and founded the Ming Dynasty. In the same year, the Ming army captured Dadu (currently Beijing). When Zhu Di assumed the throne as the Yongle Emperor (1402-1424), he announced the new capital of China was to be at his power base in Beijing. Construction of a new city there lasted from 1407 to 1420, employing hundreds of thousands of workers daily.
