1. You can follow the inverted pyramid form.
2. You can write an interesting and catchy headline and lead.
3. You are reporting only facts (opinions should be left out).
4. You are using information gained from at least 2 different sources (primary or secondary) in your story.
5. You are attributing the info you gained from the source (giving credit to the source).

What kind of sources can you use, do the instructions say? Like do you look up anything you want and then write a fake news article using that information?

For example, would you look up "The best pet boarding in the (whatever state you live in) for when you go on vacation", find the sources that state their opinions on the best pet boarding places, then write a news article summarizing it all?
