Recall that the area of a trapezoid is given by the formula \(A = \frac{1}{2}(b_1+b_2)h\), where \(b_1\) and \(b_2\) are the two bases, and \(h\) is the height. In this instance, you're given the values of the area and the two bases; thus, we see that \(24 = \frac{1}{2}(3+5)h\). What do you get when you solve for h? :-)
