what is the function of photosystem 2?

Photo system 1 creates NADPH for the Calvin Cycle and photo system 2 supplies H+ molecules to fuel ATP synthase which turns ADP into ATP. Photosystems are functional and structural units of protein complexes involved in photosynthesis that together carry out the primary photochemistry of photosynthesis: the absorption of light and the transfer of energy and electrons.
