Plug them in and see if they equal 14. \[6x - \frac{ y }{ 2 } = 14\] Lets plugin (-9, 3) x = -9 y = 3 \[6(-9) - \frac{ 3 }{ 2 } - 14\] \[-54 - \frac{ 3 }{ 2} = 14\] Well. we can clearly stop there. So we know its not the first one, try the second ordered pair.
