Please someone help me with this question? A number is chosen at random from a set of whole numbers from 1 to 20. What is the probability that the chosen number is a composite number?

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

prime numbers: 2, 3 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19 ------> 8 numbers the number 1 is neither prime nor composite. So you are left with 11 out of 20 composite: Probability=11/20 (4,6,8,9,10,12,14,15,16,18,20)
