Log25 x = 5/2

OpenStudy (camper4834):

25^(5/2) = x

OpenStudy (camper4834):

which if you know about fraction exponents means sqrt(25)^5 = 5^5 = 3125

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is x = 3125

OpenStudy (gorv):

\[\log_{25} x=\frac{ 5 }{ 2 }\]

OpenStudy (gorv):

\[\log_ab=c\]

OpenStudy (gorv):

it can be written as \[b=a^c\]

OpenStudy (mrnood):

@elala_z There is some confusion in the way your question is written I had interpreted it as log (25x)= 5/2 Others have interpreted it as \[\log _{25} x= \frac{ 5 }{ 2 }\] These have very different solutions - can you confirm which is the way the question is written?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The sec one

OpenStudy (mrnood):

OK - so you have been given the answer above.
