JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

What are the odd's of some one becoming an Ambassador?

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

@e.mccormick @Preetha @Compassionate @myininaya

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Giving direct answers, begging for medals, bad attitude, etc.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

You are not supposed to be rude, break coc

OpenStudy (uri):

You're supposed to be like me. -Former Ambassador. Unuf.

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

No I mean what are the chances. Like what us the Percentage.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

There is a fairly good chance to become an ambassador. You can be the one if you are suited for the job.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Have you filled the form ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1% :P

OpenStudy (abhisar):

aahh..don't be demotivating @AnswerMyQuestions :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (abhisar):

joel, i think you should fill the application. I think you hav all the qualities to be one. You better fill it up soon. There is an ongoing selection process.

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

I talked to preetha yesterday when she was in the chats and she said she was going to review some of the forms, but idk the chances seem quite small.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Don't count the chances, that's not upto us. :) All the best

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

Thanks @Abhisar :)

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

I want to become one too. @Joel_the_boss @Abhisar Where can I get the form.

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

@confluxepic http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/5459feebe4b04ccc2592322a That's my previous questions it will answer any you currently have :)

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Ok. Thanks. @Joel_the_boss

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

*making up numbers* from just a mathematical stand point.... 1% (about 1 person from 100 applicants) but it's not random selection so narrow down to those who have actually turned in ids... maybe 40% chance of getting in if you did any previous suspensions/trolling/rulebreaking/spamming = decrease in chance (but then again they let poopsie in -.-) there are a lot of other factors involved... time spent active, mod warnings/suspensions, etc. but if you fit in all of necessary criterias of an Ambassador, you'll have a darn good chance of getting in (if you haven't made a blow up mistake)

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

I used to make mistakes in the past :/ That's where my chances are ruined.

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

But ive been helping and doing the right thing for the past few months.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

@Abhisar How do you make those words with a link. @sleepyhead314 Thanks for sharing the information.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

LaTeX ``` \(\href{http:///bit.ly/1Gpd9I6}{\sf Ambassador~Aplication~Form}\) ```

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Any applicant that meets the requirements will be taken. About 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 who apply do so. The others are usually too new with too little history to evaluate. Some have a poor record that is recent, such as suspensions for language use problems in the last 4 to 6 months. Some don't bother to answer the questions on the application. But really, the largest reason we have passed over people is they have only been here a couple months or only asked/answered a small number of questions over several months. I would say the majority of long term users with good records are simply not applying.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Thanks. @Abhisar And sorry for tagging you too much :)

OpenStudy (abhisar):

No problem
