Who invaded Russia in the early thirteenth century? Briefly describe the methods they used to conquer Russia and their results

The Mongol Empire; Genghis Khan was the leader. They captured as far west as the capital Kiev. The Mongols rode horses, and were excellent archers. Its important to note that the Mongols were religiously tolerant, and did not care what religion you were; even their captives.
