Ahh well you have to study to become a doctor for a LONG time. First you need to get a 4 year degree, and after that you will then need to be accepted into medical school, which is very competitive. Since it's so competitive you have to be serious about going into medicine. Medical school varys in how many years it is (its a lot of years though), but thats also because you will have a couple years of residency also. Once you are officially a doctor, it is basically a 24/7 job, even when you aren't actively in the hospital you'll still get called to the hospital again, patients will call you, etc. Hope this helps :)
