Well, to me it looks like A and D are the most similar, although the lengths are not similar, the angles are.

when talking about similar triangles, it should be that the interior angles of the two triangles are the same.. so what triangles do you think are having the same interior angles?

To me it looks as if triangle D was reflected across the line, then dilated, then translated to create triangle A.
