WILL MEDAL AND FAN! I will have the graph posted in the comments ok thx so much. Which two triangles are similar? A.A and B B.A and D C.B and C D.B and D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HERE IT is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, to me it looks like A and D are the most similar, although the lengths are not similar, the angles are.

@shinalcantara

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

when talking about similar triangles, it should be that the interior angles of the two triangles are the same.. so what triangles do you think are having the same interior angles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A because the ratio in length are the same 2:3 and 6:9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ab

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

take a look at this: |dw:1415207385854:dw|

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

those triangles are similar. now look back to the given illustration

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

which triangles are having the same look?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A & D

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I forgot to look for the right angle lol thx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To me it looks as if triangle D was reflected across the line, then dilated, then translated to create triangle A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And I was right all along

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b was right but I have to retake it again lol 70% aint ganna fly
