Please help me.. TT=TT Design a staircase that will safely get people between two floors. The height difference between the floors is 3.6 m, the length of the stairwell is 4.2 m and the width of the stairwell is 2.8 m. Building codes state that the maximum rise of a stair is 19 cm and the minimum tread is 25 cm.

OpenStudy (mvpriest):

what are you trying to figure out

OpenStudy (mvpriest):

the stair itself is 44 cm. all together and the stairs are 7 m altogether

OpenStudy (mvpriest):

I dont know if that is what you want though

oh im sorry.. you need to figure out how many steps there are going to be.. and you need to figure out the rise and the run of the steps.. :)
