OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm answering a question with a question BTW.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Except they aren't all odd! XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um yes they are all prime numbers are odd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Read my first reply.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um. i really dont know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well the answer is no, so therefore 2 is a prime number. 2 is also even.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 isnt a prime number, idiot...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 is prime

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 *is* prime

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Rejecting the truth. lol

myininaya (myininaya):

No need to call anyone an idiot. But 2 is indeed a prime number. A prime number is an integer that is only divisible by itself and 1. 2 fits that definition.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

niyaghant take that lap 2 is prime b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um okay .... my bad.. can someone help me with one step inequalities? okay let it go dang,

myininaya (myininaya):

2 is the only even prime number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2? XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bakus552 can u help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i meant bakus522

myininaya (myininaya):

Well normally we only consider the positive integers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@bakus522

myininaya (myininaya):

But I guess you could look like other integers and only think about positive divisors for them.

myininaya (myininaya):

Hey @niyaghant33 Please post your question as a question. Thanks kindly.

myininaya (myininaya):

Many texts saying the integer has to be greater than 1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 is a prime number. Since it can only be divided by 1 and itself to yield an integer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um.. this is.. im confused.. does somebody know how 2 do one step equalities? if so then send me a message
