None of these correctly identify the possible absolute value of x-1. They all include negative numbers or numbers equal to 4. The range should be 0 to 3. If it's asking what x's possible value is, then it's -4 to 4. If it's asking what x's absolute value range is, it's 0 to 4.

as |x - 1|<4 so all the numbers can be there whose difference with 1 results in a number less than 4 so numbers varying from -3 to 5 will be there but -3 and 5 will not be included as their difference with 1 = 4, not less than thus the second graph shows the true characteristics
