OpenStudy (anonymous):

well Nine and one-half = 9(1/2) and four and one-half times a number = 4(1/2) n Nine and one-half less than four and one-half times a number = 4n(1/2) - 9(1/2) Nine and one-half less than four and one-half times a number is greater than 62.5. = 4n(1/2) - 9(1/2)>62.5

16, +infinity ... -16, +infinity ... -infinity, 16 or -infinity, -16 ?.. The answer provided didn't help. @sangya21

you can solve it for n 4(1/2) n -9(1/2) > 62.5 (((4*2) +1)/2)n - (((9*2)+1)/2) > 62.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(9/2)n -19/2> 62.5 (9/2)n > 62.5 + 19/2 \[n > (62.5 +19/2) \div 9/2\]
