Find the value of x if the area of the triangle is 297.5 in^2? I know the formula for area is 1/2 (bxh). So, would I take 297.5/35? http://static.k12.com/eli/bb/811/7537/0/2_36614_44211/7537/a5f1016a929c7017dcd86e01b372da4fa290c833/media/aa364cadf6f88d305ecbfceb69b56b9ce6543b9f/mediaasset_649812_1.gif

Nevermind. I know the answer. It's 8.5

area of a triangle is 1/2 the base times the height. area = (1/2) 70 x 297.5= (1/2) 70 x Solve the above for x.
