IT was a well planned operation. The Japanese attacked the Phillippines, Singapore, Malaya, Hong Kong on the same day. The Japanese fleet that attacked Pearl Harbor went back to Japan to prepare for conquest of the Pacific. 

 It raided the British navy in the Indian Ocean in March 1942.
