Why is it important to answer the question: What hardships did African Americans face after the Revolutionary war??? Is that your question?
Yeah. I'm writing a paper to answer the question and my teacher said I had to explain why the topic is important. I don't know why it's important.
@arabpride Where did you go?
It is asking why that question is important am i correct?
what are the choses
There aren't any! :(
@tester97 Yup. But more like why is it important to know the answer.
they faced many dificultys like
the KKK?
@Sosa4954 Huh? I don't get it.
The Klu Klux Klan
What's The Klu Klux Klan?
i think because they where still slaves
its a racist group who wanted to kill all the African americans
plus segregation and slavery
Oh. That's probably not the answer, but I don't know what is! Ahh! I don't know!
It is important to know the answer to that question so that you know how african americans dealt with life after the war. Everytime there was a war people faced hard economic problems, but some groups of people suffered even more. The african americans just happened to be the ones to suffer more. Even though some had freedom they were still in danger of becoming captured and maded slaves again. So there is that.
After the revolutionary war, emancipation laws began to increase in the North where slavery began to decline. When the north industrialization began, the need for slaves to work in the plantations were less demanded where in the south it wasn't. That's when the North and the South started to conflict each other. They still had hardships though, mainly in the south. Before then, they had more hardships before and after the revolutionary war because they were drafted to fight with the British and some were drafted to fight with the colonies. As for what hardships did African Americans face after the Revolutionary war? I'd say what tester said was about it. Even though slavery was starting to get abolished after the American revolutionary war, racism still existed.
Crap - sorry >.< i had to log out~
But yes, wut Tester and Zale said cx
I agree with @tester97 And also with @Zale101 But I think you should have paid a bit more attention, lol your instructor could mean many different things, but as we did not hear that lecture, how can we be sure what your instructor is asking for exactly?
Everything that happened in history matters..and it's important.
