What is the Discriminant of 3x^2 -10x = -2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\sf discrminant=4a^2-c\) for eqautions \(ax^2+bx+c=0\)

Change to standard form first, by moving the -2 to the other side of the equation. You have to have the quadratic equal to 0 before you can determine the values of a, b, and c to use for the discriminant.
