there are two kinds of laws in the ten commandments. What are they?

They are:

1) Laws that pertain to our relationship with God (These are the first 3 (or 4 depending on how they're ordered) commandments).
2) Laws that pertain to our relationship with each other (These are the last 7 (or 6 depending on how they're ordered) commandments).

Jesus clearly identified these when He was asked which was the greatest commandment by responding (and this is a paraphrase), "Love God with your whole [being] and love your neighbor as yourself."
